NBS-nytt
27.11.2017
I am looking forward to the next NBS contact meeting in January 2018, in Øyer. As expected, the program includes outstanding plenary speakers.
New this time is that teaching and learning has been elevated to the level of plenary lecture with Robin Wright. This is an excellent and creative initiative by the organizing Oslo members. We all need to update our didactic skills and refill our teaching tools, as new learning platforms are changing the traditional lectures and lab courses. A long term productive scientific investigation relies on early focusing on high quality and research-based education, as it represents the basis for a successful training of our recruits for Master and PhD. Initiatives to improve research education in biochemistry and molecular biology and related biosciences have also been significantly reactivated by FEBS and other biochemical societies.
